UTTARAKHAND WEEKLY CURRENT AFFAIRS (02 – 08 August 2021)

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the ‘Uttarakhand Earthquake Alert App’ developed in collaboration with Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee on 4 August 2021.
Uttarakhand has become the first state in the country to launch an earthquake alert app. This is the first app in the country to provide early earthquake warnings.
App Name – Uttarakhand Earthquake Alert .

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने 4 अगस्त 2021 को उत्तराखंड राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (यूएसडीएमए) और भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (आइआइटी) रुड़की के सहयोग से विकसित ‘उत्तराखंड भूकंप अलर्ट एप’ लांच किया।
भूकंप अलर्ट एप्प लॉन्च करने वाला उत्तराखंड देश का पहला राज्य बन गया है। भूकंप की पूर्व चेतावनी देने वाला यह देश का पहला ऐप है।

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched Mukhyamantri Vatsalya Yojana on 2 August 2021.
Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Rawat announced the launch of Mukhyamantri Vatsalya Yojana in Uttarakhand.
This scheme is for the orphan children who lost their parents due to the infection of Covid-19.
Under this scheme, the government will be responsible for the maintenance, education, and employment of orphan children till the age of 21 years.

उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने 2 अगस्त 2021 को मुख्यमंत्री वात्सल्य योजना लांच की।
उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ रावत ने उत्तराखंड में मुख्यमंत्री वात्सल्य योजना शुरू करने की घोषणा की।
यह योजना उन अनाथ बच्चों के लिए है जिन्होंने Covid-19 के संक्रमण से अपने माता पिता को खोया।
इस योजना के तहत अनाथ बच्चों की आयु 21 वर्ष होने तक उनके भरण पोषण, शिक्षा व रोजगार की जिम्मेदारी सरकार की होगी।
इन अनाथ बच्चों को प्रतिमाह 3000 रुपये भरण पोषण भत्ता भी दिया जाएगा।

The 19th National Federation Cup Junior (U-20) Athletics Championship was held from 31 July to 2 August at the Venus Memorial Stadium in Sangrur, Punjab.
In this championship, Anu Kumar, resident of Dhanpura, Haridwar won the gold medal in the race of 800 meters.
Ankita Dhyani won a Gold and a Silver medal in the 19th National Federation Cup Junior (U-23) Athletics Competition.

19 वीं राष्ट्रीय फेडरेशन कप जूनियर (अंडर-20) एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप 31 जुलाई से 2 अगस्त तक वीनस मेमोरियल स्टेडियम पंजाब के संगरूर में हुई।
इस चैंपियनशिप में हरिद्वार के धनपुरा निवासी अनु कुमार ने 800 मीटर की दौड़ में स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
अंकिता ध्यानी ने 19वीं राष्ट्रीय फेडरेशन कप जूनियर (अंडर-23) एथलेटिक्स प्रतियोगिता में एक स्वर्ण और एक रजत पदक हासिल किया।

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced a grant of Rs 25 lakh to Indian women’s hockey team player Vandana Kataria.
Vandana Kataria of the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand is a player of the Indian women’s hockey team.
In the match against South Africa, Vandana scored three goals and played a key role in winning the team.
Vandana Kataria has become the first Indian female hockey player to score a hat-trick by scoring three goals in a match at the Olympics.

उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम की खिलाड़ी वंदना कटारिया को 25 लाख रुपये देने की घोषणा की है।
उत्तराखंड के हरिद्वार जनपद की वंदना कटारिया भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम की खिलाड़ी है।
दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ मैच में वंदना ने तीन गोल दागे और टीम को जीत दिलाने में मुख्य भूमिका निभाई।
वंदना कटारिया पहली भारतीय महिला हॉकी खिलाड़ी बन गयी हैं जिन्होंने ओलंपिक में एक मैच में तीन गोल कर हैट्रिक लगायी।
